How a payment cycle works

Each month follows the same steps.

  1. Month ends

Your reports show estimated earnings for the month while it runs.

  2. Earnings are finalized

Ad platforms check for invalid activity and confirm final figures. This can change the estimate.

  3. Statement is sent

You receive a statement with final earnings and any adjustments, with the reason for each one.

  4. Payment is made

If your balance is above the minimum payout, we pay you under your payment terms.

Good to know

Estimated and final earnings

Reports show estimated earnings during the month. Final earnings can be lower when ad platforms remove invalid clicks or impressions, or when an advertiser doesn't pay. Your statement always shows these changes.

Balances below the minimum

If your balance is below the minimum payout, it carries over to the next month. Nothing is lost.

Tax forms

Before your first payment, we ask for a tax form. Publishers outside the United States usually complete a W-8BEN (individuals) or W-8BEN-E (companies). Publishers in the United States complete a W-9. You are responsible for taxes in your own country.

Payment details

Payments go to an account in your name or your company's name. To protect you, we confirm any change to your payment details before the next payment.

Invalid activity

Earnings from invalid traffic are not paid. If we find invalid activity, we may hold or deduct the affected earnings. See the Invalid Traffic Policy and the Publisher Agreement for the full rules.
